Centro Escolar University successfully underwent its recertification audit for two international standards, the ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System)and ISO 21001:2018 (Educational Organizations Management System) on April 13–16, 2026.
The audit was conducted by representatives from SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance), the certifying body for both standards, who evaluated the University’s implementation of the “3Ps” framework which stands for People, Processes, and Procedures/Policies.
The “people” component focuses on ensuring the engagement, competence, and continuous training of employees to effectively perform their roles. Processes highlight the application of a process-based approach to ensure consistency, efficiency, and continual improvement. Lastly, procedures/policies emphasize establishing and maintaining documented information to ensure compliance and reliable outcomes.
Following the evaluation, the auditors recommended CEU for recertification, affirming the University’s ability to consistently and systematically meet the standards’ requirements.
